Over 60’s Yoga

This is a popular friendly class for older people, focusing on maintaining mobility, as well as breathing and relaxation.

Rather than trying to “do Yoga postures” we work to support maintaining a wide range of movements essential to everyday functioning through the sequences and postures.

Consideration and time is given to modifications for age related complaints such as arthritus, but if getting up and down from the floor is not suitable please see the chair yoga class page.

Suitable for both those with experience of yoga and those who are new to it.
